Wyngate guest house bed and breakfast is in a quiet residential area of Meols, a small village just next to Hoylake in Wirral. Close to the world famous Royal Liverpool Golf Course in Hoylake it is the perfect place to stay if you want to relax and enjoy the local area or use as a base to travel further afield.
At the end of the road you’ll find the beach and parks making it a great place for families and there are plenty of pubs, bars and restaurants you can stroll to or take the train for a great night out.
Great walks and cycling
At the end of the road is the beach where you can take a long relaxing walk to Hoylake and visit the Lifeboat museum or pop into the local town and visit the many great bars and restaurants. If you’re feeling a little more adventurous you could walk to West Kirby and enjoy the marina or perhaps take a walk to Hilbre Island and see the native seals that live on the island.
You can also join the Wirral Way from West Kirby which can ultimately take you all the way to Chester and it’s great for cyclists too.
Trains to all over the country
Just 10 minutes from our Hoylake guest house is Meols train station which connects you to Liverpool and Chester. All trains pass through Lime Street which means you then have direct access to trains from Edinburgh to London.
Driving
If you decide to take the car we are only 10 minutes away from the M53 which links to North Wales, Manchester and the M6.
